| In November 2018 Leif spent nine days in Oman studying birds. Together with eight other amateur ornithologists I visited the Dhofar region in Oman. We stayed in a hotel in Salalah and made every day excursions to various birding sites. The group observed and recorded 171 different species. I myself observed 121 species.
